OUR FOUNDING

Most Students in Imizamo Yethu graduate from Ikhaya le Themba school,  which previously offered an after-school care program for those students grade first through sixth. In 2014 Ikaya formed a partnership with Ricky Pato, and Vineyard church, first beginning with a weekly youth centered Friday night function, then further expanding into after school homework help, extra curricular activities, and camps. In 2016, Ikhaya decided to formalize the youth program and Sakhiszwe was born!
